Gustivela Privacy Policy
The safest way to protect your data is to never collect it. Gustivela was engineered from day one as a purely offline application.
1. Zero Servers & Zero Cloud
The Gustivela mobile application does not communicate with any backend server. There are no analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting services transmitting data in the background.
2. No Accounts or Registration
We do not ask for email addresses, phone numbers, names, or social logins. You download the app and cook immediately, with full access to every feature.
3. Strictly Local Storage
Recipes you create, kitchen photos, favorite lists, and shopping checklists are stored exclusively on your device’s local memory (in an isolated sandbox).
4. Encrypted Backup Under Your Control
To prevent data loss when switching devices, the app provides complete export into a .gustivela archive, optionally password-protected with military-grade AES-256 and PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations).
